It has been almost 1 week since I've knit. I think it was Monday or Tuesday last week when my physical therapist friend told me I should lay off the needles for a week. It has gone quickly, but I'm really itching to get back to it. I figure I can make it through tonight and tomorrow, then Tuesday I am going out with a friend. By Weds. I should be good to go.
The good news is that my arm pain is gone. The bad news. . . or bad possibility. . . what if it comes back? My first plan would be to try knitting Continental style. I've tried in the past, with very little success. . . though if that is the only knitting possibility, I bet I will learn quickly. I'll have to search out others who have had to switch and see if there are any hints/words of encouragement.
For now, my Lucky socks are waiting, still waiting.

Knitting hiatus
Due to repetitive strain injury I've been put on knitting hiatus.
Perhaps now I can get a blog going.
I'm almost half way through the March 2008 Rockin' Sock Club sock. It's an easy knit in a beauteous green medium weight sock yarn. I'm feeling very out of sorts that it's just languishing.
The hardest part is the evenings. . . . TV is on and I am not knitting.
